Strength Training for Triathletes; Build Resiliency, Boost Performance

OCTOBER 24th at 7PM – led by physical therapist Scott Kaylor. This is the season we all need to learn to be comfortable with strength training and by that I mean, DON’T BE AFRAID to learn proper lifting technique so you can get stronger!

Discussion on benefits of strength training for triathletes and periodization
Participate in movement assessments with exercise strategies to address impairments found
Demonstration of key lifts: push, pull, squat, hinge, lunge
Sample training plan for intro to weight lifting for newbies
Sample training plan for more experienced lifters
Question and Answer session

COST: $20 (a fraction of what you would pay a personal trainer who has a fraction of the education Scott does)
