A little of all. When I get around to actually racing, I always have fun, and it helps with my overall health.

The Tiger Tri Sprint in Republic, MO (2013)
How long have you been interested in triathlon/running/fitness?
For as long as I can remember. I ran track in high school and have always loved riding bikes. Swimming, not so much.
Do you enjoy training or competing most?
I live for the training. Race days are just more training
What is your favorite part of training?
The time to be alone with my thoughts or a good audiobook and see the hard work pay off over time.
What drives you to compete?
I view myself as my main competition and enjoy breaking through what previously seemed like barriers.
Why did you choose Team Malone?
I took a beginning triathlon course that Katie was teaching basically for free. When she learned of my fear of swimming, she told me that she could help me get past it, and she has.
