“Who Needs Paris Anyway” Solo Louisville Loop Marathon

CONGRATS to Matt Hubbard for getting his FIRST marathon done in fine form yesterday!

“Today (actually yesterday), at 5:50 am, I set out on one of the most truly beautiful trails I think I’ve ever run on. The Louisville Loop will soon be a loop around Louisville spanning over a hundred miles and I was fortunate enough to live near one of the trail heads that spans a completed 18 miles of the loop. A bit of a down and back and some MAJOR hills, but the breathtaking views, horse farms with no kidding dozens of horses, and dark wooded forests that looked like something out of Harry Potter made today really special. Sure I sorta relished the idea of posing in front of the Eiffel Tower and or the Louvre with my medal, but instead, this one was for me. A Solo marathon that stated “I am capable, I am strong, I am resilient, and I am enough.

The Inaugural “Who Needs Paris Anyways” Solo Louisville Loop Marathon. Official time 04:21:36 with a 9:59 min pace. @ Louisville Loop – Floyd’s Fork”
