Team Race 2026 - Ironman Lake Placid

I just wanted to start pushing out information to you all regarding accommodations for our team race in Lake Placid next summer. (July 19th, 2026)

Currently here is a list of who I know is planning to race:

Make sure to sign up within the next 60-90 days since this race will probably fill up.

We have rented one house with Mirror Lake access, this will be home base for our team. Steve Hinds generously secured this house for us. As of right now all beds in the house are taken but, I will gladly add to a waiting list, in case anyone decides they don't want to be in the house. 

We have the house from I believe the 15th (Wednesday) until the 22nd the following Wednesday which will allow us some good R&R before and after the race. 

Bedroom 1 - King Bed (Steve & Gina)

Bedroom 2 - Bonus room w 4 beds (Katie & Brad - Whitney & Will)

Bedroom 3  - Double Bed (Ben & Liz)

Bedroom 4 - Queen (Kate & Ryan)

Bedroom 5 - King (Allison & Quincy)

COST for 12 people is $780 PER PERSON. Ideally everyone can send Steve at least half of their fee within the next month since he already paid half. Please pay Steve via Zelle with his phone number 864-237-4917. 

In addition to the house Prashant's family owns a hotel In Lake Placid. I have attached their rates as well and the sheet you need to fill out to reserve a room. (If you are reading this on the blog please email me to get this document: katie@malonecoaching.com)

There are other hotels in downtown Lake Placid but unfortunately all of the prices are similar. 

If you are looking at rentals, we swim in Mirror Lake and NOT in Lake Placid.
